Scooped Choc Keycaps

Scooped for your pleasure! Sold in packs of 10.

These are a uniform profile keycap with a cylindrical scoop, much like a Cherry style keycap, but meant for Kailh Low Profile Choc switches. They come to me as clear polycarbonate keycaps and I use a dying process to bring them to life.

These keycaps are 18mm x 18mm so they will NOT fit Choc specific keyboards like the Planck Lite, the Pancake or the Theta. They do look great on boards like the Kyria, Helix, CRKBD/Corne/Helidox, Iris, etc. where the spacing is a normal 19.05mm spacing.

Great keycaps for switch testers

These caps look great, and actually feel great, and are crystal clear. You can see all of the mechanisms of the Kailh Choc switches through the caps.

Not gonna be very useful for daily use, though. No homing notch notwithstanding, the smooth surfaces are a little too slippery to type on.

Mixed Feelings

The quality of these caps is fine. They're not junk, by any means. But I bought a bunch to put on a Kyria, and for me, they're not great. There is no homing option, which makes them kind of difficult to use while touch typing. FWIW I had basically the same issue with a set of DSA caps on a different board. I would recommend buying one set of these to see if you like them before committing to a whole keyb's worth, but if they work for you, they seem like a solid choice.
