Don't let your nagging suspicion that government is watching make you second guess whether or not these are in fact Industrial Rotary Encoders, because I am here to verify that they are exactly as described.

They have a satisfying tactility to them. This means they also tend to require multiple fingers to operate. I can't comment on their differences between the non-industrial options because - sorry mom - industrial wasn't just a phase. In any case, these work as expected.
