Hey! I was hoping to pair that sweet Nord Assembly kit with a Boardwalk PCB, are you going to restock it?
Perfect board to get me onto the ortho life. I went for the atomic layout. The entire thing was super easy to get together, and with the brass plate and MK's amazing foam, my lubed Zealios are stupid quiet and still feel fantastic. My wallet is sad that I'll need to build another for work soon. Don't think about this one if you're wanting to switch to olkb life, it's perfect. MK was super fast on shipping too!
I really like this layout and consider it an upgrade to the ortholinear. MKUltra seems to be the only place left to be able to get hold of one. Shipping is a slow. Took 3 months for delivery. I'd still buy from them as the quality of the foams and the rest of the stuff they sell are superb quality but be prepared to wait.
Built me quite of an interesting KB. Opted for the hot swap mod, foam sheet, and a brass plate ( I think Stainless steel would have been better though). Changed the layout about 3 times since. Finally landed on the 625u + Arrows, with the GMK Pulse Arabic + Ergo + Arrows from GMK Jamon + Deal from ePBT 9009. Outemu Ice Silent Linears v2.2 with 63.5g Sprit springs, and 85g for the space bar. Zeal clear stab. This setup is sitting in the Keyboardbelle 1984 clear v2 case which make it even more unique. I did notice though that the hot swap mod might have caused some damage to the legs of the Gateron Ink I had in this setup before, so menu point here.
All in all highly recommended for those who want a board to experiment many different setups with and try out the ortholinear layout without sacrificing much.
I chose Hotswap MOD Service, Steel plate, Zeal clear stab and Kailh box switch. There was no problem with the accuracy, and the assembly was completed without any stress.I’m highly satisfied.
